My grandparents from my father have passed away when I was 2 years old. Whether my grandparents from my mother lived far away from my house so, I seldomly met them. Although I didn’t have much experience with my grandparents in law but, there was a women in my village that I treated as my grandmother. I called her Nini Buther. She was so old so all of her hair colour is white and her body was supported by bones and skin only.
Her brain was not as good as before. She was doing something strange lately. She took a bath in front of her house, so every people who passed by would see her naked. Except that, she also liked acting to lie other people. When there were so many people gathering in front of her, with a faded t-shirt and a piece of jarit material patched in her body, she would act as she fainted but, when we came to help, there was nothing wrong with her. After knowing about this fact, once when she fainted, no one helped her and then after five minutes passed, she got up by herself. Another her strange behavior was she liked begging money from another people and acted as she hadn’t eaten anything yet. In fact, my father had actually given her money every month to eat but, by seeing her like that, it seemed to us that she never appreciated our kindness.
Our heart was hurt when seeing her like that but, when I thought about it deeper, I concluded that she was only lonely. She lived alone in a tiny, stinky, and descrepit house above my house and she seldomly had friends to talk with. She just had a black, thin, and furry cat with her in the night. What she really needed was not money but love which could be come from friends, family, or another people. And I thought that all grandparents were the same with her. They needed our love, so let us gave them our love.
